M.S. program: University requirements

Plan of Work (POW)

All students are required to submit a Plan of Work (POW) that is provided by the Office of Graduate Programs at the School of Medicine, within six months of entering the program.

The POW provides the Office of Graduate Programs with an official outline of planned coursework that will satisfy 32 graduate credits required for the Master's degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology. The POW form should be obtained and completed by the student in consultation with the MS program director and thesis advisor.

Important forms

Several forms will need to be completed during the student's matriculation. The forms coincide with specific plans and milestones that the student and thesis advisor develop (e.g., rotation selection, small group shadowing, proposed research plan, thesis committee meeting summary, etc.).  The forms are specific to the student's MS Program track (Research or Education).  Forms can be obtained from the MS Program director.
